Literary Terms III & Literary Terms IV

Literary Terms III

Use your own knowledge and the internet to define the following literary devices and find examples in the novel:

1.) Flashback

2.) Flashforward

3.) Foreshadowing

After defining the terms and supporting your notion with examples from the novel, answer these questions:

1.) What’s the difference between flashforward and foreshadowing?

2.) What’s the effect of a narration full of flashbacks and flashforwards?
